Redwood National & State Parks are located in northern California, near the Oregon border. There are no entrance fees or designated entrance points, as the parks are connected to Highway 101. The parks are known for their tall redwood trees.

The Thomas H. Kuchel Visitor Center is located at the southernmost part of the park. Here are several famous attractions from south to north.

📍Lady Bird Johnson Grove Trail
This is a very short trail, only 1.5 miles in length, with many hollow tree trunks along the way.

📍Tall Trees Grove Trail
Located in the deep forest, this trail is 3.6 miles long. To visit, you need to apply for a permit online for a specific day. There is a gate on the road to the parking lot that requires an access code, which will be sent to you via email two days in advance. Remember to save a screenshot of it.

📍Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway
This road is between exits 753 and 765 on Highway 101, spanning over ten miles. There are many points of interest along the way, including the famous Big Tree Wayside. This tree stands at 286 feet tall and is approximately 1500 years old. It's truly a breathtaking sight. The Corkscrew Tree to the north is also a recommended attraction.
